Jack A. Maresh-UPDATED
Jack A. Maresh, 84, Syracuse, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at I.U. Goshen Hospital in Goshen. He was born on May 14, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Fred and Anna (Chesney) Maresh.
He graduated in 1951 from Lincoln High School in Cleveland and served in the United States Air Force. He was married on Dec. 5, 1953, in Cleveland to Beverly Rogers who survives. He was the former owner/operator of Wawasee Electronics in Syracuse and formerly worked at Courtney Blue in Syracuse. He lived in the Syracuse area for the past 55 years and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse.
He is survived by his wife: Beverly Maresh, Syracuse; a son: Lance (Yvonne) Maresh, Alpine, Texas; a daughter: Lynn (Albert) Dubnicka, Charlotte, N.C.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Richard Maresh.
Private family services will take place at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Grace Lutheran Church, Syracuse, or the American Heart Association, Indianapolis. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
