Community Foundation Promotes Cannon
KOSCIUSKO — Kosciusko County Community Foundation announced the promotion of Amy Cannon to program director.
Cannon was hired in 2012 as program officer. Her initial responsibilities included administrative processes related to grants from community funds, Kosciusko REMC Operation Round Up fund, KEYS and scholarships.
“Amy’s promotion is a reflection of the management level responsibilities she has grown into,” said Suzie Light, executive director of Kosciusko County Community Foundation. “Amy is now the lead person for all things related to scholarships and competitive grants. She is adept at serving the needs of applicants and at helping the Community Foundation be an effective grant maker.”
Cannon earned a bachelor of arts degree in interior design and a master of science in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue University. She is a co-host of Collaborate Kosciusko, a collaboration of area nonprofit organizations, and is a member of the chamber’s Young Adult Professionals and Sacred Heart Church. Cannon resides in Warsaw with her husband and daughter.
