Carol J. Luzbetak — UPDATED
Carol J. Luzbetak, 70, Cromwell, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1945 in Joliet, Ill. to Erwin J. and Betty Jean (Rechkemer) Yunker.
She attended high school in Lockport, Ill. and was married Oct. 25, 1985 in Monee, Ill. to Robert S. “Bob” Luzbetak who survives. She retired from Washington Jr. High School in Joliet, Ill. as a cafeteria cook after 18 years and moved to the Cromwell/North Webster area 11 years ago from Illinois.
She formerly attended the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Mokena, Ill.
She is survived by her husband: Bob Luzbetak, Cromwell; four daughters: Jacquelyn (Michael) Paulsen, New Lennox, Ill.; Frances White, Cromwell; Kristine (Patrick) Tanner, Bringhurt; Jody (Joe) Kaminski, Orlando, Fla.; two step-sons: Robert and John Luzbetak, Joliet, Ill.; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara Kastman, Findley, Ill.; and Nancy Yunker, Matteson, Ill.; a brother: James (Kathy) Yunker, Monee, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4–8 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webste. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw.
