Zackary Scott “Zack” Allen, 18, Syracuse, passed away at 11:52 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Warsaw.

He was born on May 24, 1998 in Columbia City to Todd Allen and Kimberly D. Bruner.

He attended grade school in Pierceton and graduated in June 2016 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He moved to the Syracuse area seven years ago from Pierceton.

He is survived by his mother: Kimberly Allen, Pierceton; his father and step mother: Todd and Kristina Allen, Syracuse; maternal grandparents: Cheryl (Charlie) Dolbee, Warsaw and Melvin Bruner, Pierceton; sister: Cassie Frantz, Warsaw; three brothers: Dylan Pratt, Austin Allen and Zach Allen, Pierceton; step sister: Tiffany Miller, Twinsburg, Ohio; two step brothers: Brandon Miller, Syracuse; Michael Miller, Twisnburg, Ohio; step grandparents: Jon and Mary Ellen Weyhe, Valparaiso; step great-grandparents: George and Sandy Weimer, Cromwell. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: George Coon and Linda Lou Little and step sister: Ashley James.

Visitation will be from 4– 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Cremation will take place at, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
