Pike Lumber To Expand Milan Location
MILAN — Pike Lumber Company, headquartered in Akron, just south of Kosciusko County, has announced it will double production, crating up to 15 new jobs by 2020.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation reports the expansion will be at the company’s Milan location and will include a new 27,200 square-foot addition to the existing facility, bringing it up to 34,880 square feet, total. The cost for the project will be around $3.4 million. It will also double the Milan facility’s output to around 8 million “board feet” per year.
Construction on the project is slated to begin in December.
