Fort Wayne SCORE Opens Warsaw Branch
WARSAW — The Fort Wayne Chapter of SCORE announced the grand opening of a new branch office in Warsaw.
The grand opening is in conjunction with a SCORE-sponsored workshop, set for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, and will be held in conjunction with a SCORE Sponsored workshop, “How to Start Your Own Business.” The workshop will take place at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and is free to the general public.
The Warsaw SCORE office is headed by Tim Meyer, a mentor with more than 35 years of experience as a controller in the local orthopedic industry. Meyer has assembled 10 mentors from a variety of business backgrounds to assist local entrepreneurs in getting their business going. He encourages individuals interested in free counseling to contact the Warsaw SCORE office located at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, 512 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw. The Fort Wayne chapter of SCORE, along with its Warsaw branch, a volunteer mentoring group of retired and working business professionals, is seeking to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners in starting up and growing existing businesses in the nine counties making up northeast Indiana. SCORE’s mentoring services are free to the public.
