INDIANAPOLIS — Much like a teenager, Apple is letting us know how it feels with an emoji.

The company has made its stance on gun control clear, with plans to remove the gun emoji from its emoji keyboard.

A bright green water gun will replace it.

Apple has also announced that it will add more than 100 other new emojis.

The goal is to create a more gender-diverse keyboard, with more female character options.

Apple has been criticized in the past for its lack of women emojis.
