Brian L. Rupright
Brian L. Rupright, 55, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, August 8, 2016, at his home on Knapp Lake.
He was born to Dean Byron Sr. and the late Judith Arlene (Rice) Garrett on Aug. 23, 1960 in Huntington County.
He leaves behind six children: Stevie (Zachary Shaw) Taylor, Fort Wayne; Matthew Rupright, Knapp Lake; Jacob Rupright, Angola; Zachary Rupright, Ligonier; Randie Rupright and Samuel Rupright, both of Knapp Lake. Grandchildren: Talon Taylor, Zayden Shaw and Silas Sherwin. Father: Dean Byron (Belle) Garrett Sr., Huntington. Brother: Bradley D. Rupright, Columbia City; sisters: Angela J. (Leroy) Fouts, Milford; Annette Madden, Knapp Lake; and brother: Dean Garrett Jr., Larwell.
Brian is preceded in death by his loving mother, Judith Arlene Garrett.
He had a lot of talent and many skills. During his time in the United States Marine Corp., Brian got to travel the world. Visiting over 40 countries, he took those memories and shared them with everyone. His love for woodworking kept him pretty busy as well. He worked for many years with an exceptional work ethic as a printing press operator for TriLakes Container Company. Above all of this, his true passion was being an exceptional father and grandfather. They made many memories playing different basketball games, puzzles of any kind and building things with Legos. A big kid at heart, Brian will truly be missed by all who loved him.
Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, August 13, at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.
A private committal service will take place with the family at the Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
