Brad Tandy Resigns From Kosciusko County Council
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Effective today, Aug. 12, Brad Tandy has resigned from the Kosciusko County Council after 22 years of service.
Tandy submitted his resignation letter yesterday, which was read at the council meeting by Kosciusko County Council President Bob Sanders.
“I regretfully tender my resignation from Council after 22 years of service,” read the resignation letter. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with each of you, the Commissioners, and the dedicated office holders and staff that serve the citizens of our county each day.”
The letter continues, “Over the years I had the opportunity to observe and participate in the growth of our county, the construction of a new justice building and jail, and the enhancement of many services and facilities that make our county a great place to work and live. In the early years, I was very proud of our progress in building a collaborative partnership with the cities and towns in our county, and I am pleased to see the ongoing positive interaction between our various governmental bodies. I know that you continue to face many challenges that are complex and multi-faceted, but I am confident that you will find the right path for the continued improvement of our County.”
Tandy has taken a position with a company in San Diego, Calif. He told the council members that his family will be keeping their home in Winona Lake and he will continue to be involved in the local community.
Mike Ragan, Kosciusko County Chair commented on the resignation. “Brad Tandy has served District Three and the citizens of Kosciusko County with distinction. His contribution to the County Council has been invaluable and will be missed. We thank him for his service and wish Brad and his family the very best”.
