Finch Running For County Council Position
WARSAW — Josh Finch has applied to fill the vacant seat in Kosciusko County Council District 3.
The seat became vacant following council member Brad Tandy’s recent resignation.
Finch is a current member of the board for City County Athletic Complex, which he said has allowed him to work with budgets and provide fiscal responsibility. He is also a member of the Kosciusko County Economic Development Committee.
Finch is a double major in business management and marketing, earning his degree from Taylor University. He briefly stated his reasons for choosing to run for the District Three position.
“I am running to help do my part in continual improvement and growth of our great community,” he said.
Finch and his wife, Rebekah, have been married one year. He is also a member of Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club.
A caucus will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, in the old courtroom at the county courthouse. Each candidate will have three minutes to speak.
