Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:23 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 723 Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw. Darren Goodine stated he had parked his rental vehicle facing north in a parking spot at an apartment complex. When he came back out two hours later he observe damage to the rear driver side bumper area. Damage up to $10,000.
4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at East Center Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashlee S. Hemmer, 20, Rattington Circle, Warsaw, and Brittany L. Hardesty, 21, Sophie Lane, Warsaw. Hemmer’s vehicle rear-ended Hardesty’s. Damage up to $2,500.
2:28 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Lake City Highway, east of Springhill Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Ahmed M. Sandeero, 36, 24th North Avenue, Minn., and Theresa A. Bryant, 53, York Lane, Columbus, Ohio. Sandeero was traveling eastbound on Lake City Highway, in the area of Springhill Road, when he went into Bryant’s lane, who was traveling in the same direction. The two vehicles “rubbed” each other and pulled off the road. Damage up to $2,500. Sandeero was cited for operating a truck in a restricted lane.
12:19 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Lake City Highway, west of North CR 150S, Warsaw. Drivers: Peter N. Beers, 19, North Michigan Street, Plymouth, and Kevin M. Duffy, 30, Tower Side Drive, Va. Beers’ vehicle rear-ended Duffy’s. Damage up to $2,500.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:08 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 1066 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake. Drivers: Keenan P. Creightney, 18, East CR 400S, Warsaw. Creightney admitted to speeding and swerved his vehicle to avoid collision with a vehicle that was turning, which caused him to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Damage up to $2,500.
