Rocky Horror Show Comes To Fort Wayne Civic Theatre
FORT WAYNE — The Rocky Horror Show will be performing at the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre for several performances in September. Richard O’Brien’s West End musical led to the cult classic film famous for midnight showings. Fans may remember O’Brien best as Riff Raff on the big screen.
A tribute to the science fiction and “B” horror films, this musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist. Dr. Frank N. Furter unveils his new creation, an artificially made, physically perfect muscle man named Rocky Horror.
Just like the film, this show is all about audience participation. Join the fun with cascading toilet paper, other props, sassy retorts and dancing the Time Warp. Rocky prop bags will be on sale at the show for $5. Patrons are asked not to bring their own probs.
Tickets are $29 for adults, $24 for seniors and $17 for age 23 and under.
