WARSAW – The Bone City Rollers derby team is preparing for its last home bout of the 2016 season.

BCR will host Lansing Mitten Mavens on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Hansen’s Eastlake Skate Center, 300 Frontage Rd., in Warsaw. Pre-sale tickets for the bout are $8. Doors open at 4 p.m., bout starts at 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from any Bone City skater, or via www.brownpapertickets.com. Kids under 5 are free.

All proceeds from the bout benefit Isaiah 11, which is a local non-profit organization that uses biblical and clinical principles and rescue animals to help individuals struggling with life issues find comfort and healing.

A special halftime performance will be performed by Lion’s Karate.

Friends and fans can join Bone City for a family-friendly afterparty following the bout at La Troje restaurant in downtown Warsaw.

The Bone City Rollers will have three road bouts to end its season, starting Sept. 17 at Lafayette Brawlin’ Dolls, Oct. 15 at Glass City in Toledo, and Nov. 12 at A-Town in Anderson.
