Wilma Jean Snapp
Wilma Jean Snapp, 91, Wabash, passed away at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash. She was born to the late Charles Alber and Mary Elizabeth (Grimes) Goble on Sept. 23, 1924, in Peru.
Wilma Jean married Rex H. Snapp on Aug. 30, 1941, he passed away on March 11, 2008. She was a member of Richvalley United Methodist Church, Richvalley. Wilma Jean enjoyed her animals and yard.
She is survived by daughters: Mrs. Ginger (Lawrence) Benedict, Wabash; Candace Adams, Wabash; and Mrs. Beverly (John) Hostetler, Peru; son: Jerry (Deb) Snapp, Linton; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother; and sister.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash, with Rev. Douglas H. Barber officiating. Burial will follow at the Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset. Preferred memorials are directed to Wabash County Animal Shelter, Wabash.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the funeral home.
