CANCELLED: Tornado Warning For Kosciusko County
UPDATE: As of 6:50 p.m., the tornado warning has been cancelled.
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a tornado warning for southern Kosciusko County until 7 p.m.
The warning, issued at 6:32 p.m., was declared for Wabash County, Whitley County and southeastern Kosciusko County.
According to the National Weather Service, radar indicated rotation.
Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
Take cover now. Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
