Family Safety Day Returns To Warsaw
WARSAW — Take a look at your calendar. Saturday, Sept. 10. What do you have going on? Cleaning gutters? Raking leaves? House work? Do yourself a favor and cross all of those prior commitments out and write in Family Safety Day instead. Why spend your day doing laundry and other mundane home chores when you could be soaring 50 feet above the ground (in a bucket truck), or performing major surgery (on a gummy worm) or racing through an obstacle course (an inflatable one)?
Join Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and other organizations like KREMC, Lutheran Health Network KCH and Protechs, Inc. for Family Safety Day and buckle up for a good time.
Attendees can also experience zip line rides, a free safe assured ID for kids, the opportunity to save a life (donate blood), boat rides, a bicycle rodeo, a chance to “meet someone famous” (DAREN the DARE Lion and Sparky the Fire Dog will both be there), a chance to win a bike and other prizes, a free bicycle helmet and most likely, a painted face.
Kids will have a blast and you will walk away with your head and hands full. So, give yourself permission to nix the housework Saturday, Sept. 10 and have a good time outside instead.
Join us for this great event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 10 in Warsaw’s Central Park.
