Jeremy Lee Spencer
Jeremy Lee Spencer, 42, Rochester, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, Sept. 11, 2016, at his mother’s residence in Logansport.
Born Aug. 24, 1974, in Logansport, he was the son of Jeffery Lee Spencer and the former Connie Mae Evans. On July 1, 2006, at Calvary Presbyterian Church, Logansport, he was married to Trisha Dawn Spencer, and she survives.
Jeremy worked in quality control for Rochester Metals. He was an active member of the Rochester V.F.W. Post, where he served as chaplain for the men’s auxiliary and was a passionate Indianapolis Colts fan.
In addition to his wife, Trisha, Rochester, Jeremy is survived by three children: Patrick Gage Mathew, Logansport; Jacob Lee Spencer and Ashlynn Dawn Spencer, both at home; his father, Jeffery Lee Spencer and wife Julie, Nyona Lake; mother, Connie Mae Collins and husband Frank, Logansport; grandmother, Betty DeWitt, Logansport; two brothers, T. J. Spencer, Rochester; and Kyler Jacob Spencer, Nyona Lake; mother-in-law, Judy Friend, Rochester; father-in-law, Duane Stuart and wife Kay, Logansport; and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will be he held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Steve Quinlan officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellow Cemetery, Rochester.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. As Jeremy was an avid Colts fan, family and friends attending the funeral are encouraged to wear Colts clothing or blue.
Funeral arrangements have been jointly entrusted to Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester and McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the Spencer family for the future benefit of Jeremy’s children.
