NorthWood’s Trenshaw Inks With IUSB
NAPPANEE – NorthWood High School senior standout Taitlyn Trenshaw will be playing her college basketball close to home.
Trenshaw signed today to continue her athletic and academic careers at IUSB.
Trenshaw has been a two-year starter for coach Adam Yoder’s program. The point guard averaged 8.8 points, 4.4 assists and 3.5 steals per game her junior season.
Trenshaw, the daughter of Brad and Micki Trenshaw, is a two-time All-NLC first-team selection and was team MVP for the Panthers for the 2015-16 campaign. NorthWood went 14-12 overall and 4-3 in the NLC last season.
Trenshaw, who also plays volleyball and runs track, will play for coach Steve Bruce at IUSB. The Titans, whose roster for this upcoming season boasts a plethora of players who played their high school basketball in the area, were 14-17 overall and 8-11 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference this past season.
