Pierceton Fire Department Receives Donation From Lutheran EMS
PIERCETON — The Pierceton Fire Department received an additional donation that would specifically benefit their own communities. Through a generous donation from Lutheran EMS-Kosciusko, the fire department received five CPR manikins that will be used to teach free Community CPR Classes.
These were presented to the department at the most recent meeting where representative Darrell Sopher, Paramedic expressed his appreciation to the department for their continued effort in providing this educational opportunity to the general public.
Being coordinated by the department, these classes will continued to be held at the Pierceton Community Building on a bi-monthly basis throughout 2017. Anyone wishing to participate in a class or register for a certification class can directly contact Darrell Sopher at (574) 518-2022 or any member of the Pierceton Fire Department to obtain any further information or assistance in registering.
The department once again thanks Lutheran EMS-Kosciusko for their contributions in ensuring that a great educational opportunity can continue to be given to the residents within and surrounding the communities they serve.
