AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation has been recognized by Riley Hospital for Children as a Riley Corporation.

To earn this status, Tippecanoe Valley either had all schools donate to Riley Hospital for Children throughout the 2015-16 school year, or raised at least one dollar for Riley for every student in its participating schools. The school corporation received a commemorative poster to recognize the collective achievement of its schools.

When he learned of the recognition from the Riley Children’s Foundation, Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation Superintendent Brett Boggs was thrilled the corporation came together to give to Riley in the past year. 

“This honor demonstrates the giving, caring nature of our students, parents, staff, and community.  Riley Hospital for Children has been, and continues to be, a blessing to many of the children and families we serve,” he noted, adding, “By contributing to the Riley Hospital for Children, our schools help support Riley’s wonderful work.”
