Anna Yoder MS Fund To Host Free MS Education Event In Warsaw On Nov. 3
WARSAW — The Anna Yoder MS Fund at IU School of Medicine-Fort Wayne, with support from Kosciusko Community Hospital, is hosting a free multiple sclerosis education and outreach event for individuals, their family members and caregivers and medical professionals who work with individuals with MS.
The meeting is 6:30-8:15 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 3, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, 2010 E. DuBois Dr. The meeting will be in the hospital’s administrative classroom.
Dr. Jimmy Yen, lead MS researcher at IU School of Medicine-Fort Wayne, will discuss updates and recent findings from the work he and his research team are doing at the medical school.
Christi Price of Winona Lake will discuss life with MS from a caregiver’s perspective and Tina Acosta, Turnstone’s director of program outreach, will present information on programs and services the agency offers to individuals with MS.

Founded in 2013 through the estate gift of Florabelle Yoder and administered by IU School of Medicine-Fort Wayne, the Anna Yoder MS Fund supports research, education and outreach services in northeast Indiana for individuals and their communities impacted by multiple sclerosis; it is the only entity exclusively serving people with MS living in this region.
