The NRA Foundation Awards $3,509.97 to Kosciusko County 4-H Shooting Sports
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The NRA Foundation has awarded Kosciusko County 4-H Shooting Sports a grant totaling $3,509.97 to fund firearms, ammunition and clay targets for youth education.
“We are very excited about the Kosciusko County 4-H Shooting Sports Program” said Rhonda Helser, member of the local Friends of the NRA Committee “and pleased that the NRA is making an investment in our community.”
With the help of nearly 300 adult volunteers, Kosciusko County 4-H offers youth development opportunities to more than 700 youth in the county. The 4-H Shooting sports project specifically has more than 60 youth members in grades 3-12. They participate annually in firearm safety training, Hunter’s Education, and monthly firearms education.
“The NRA is a great supporter of all youth shooting programs. Without their support Kosciusko County 4-H Shooting Sports would not be able to reach as many children to teach firearm safety and we all know how important it is to teach the next generation.”
