Isabelle Jane Fuller
Isabelle Jane Fuller, 86, Columbia City, passed away at 4:29 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Born May 17, 1930 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of James and Zella (Betzner) Wolfe.
She graduated from Coesse School in 1948. She had been a hard worker on the family farm in Union Township and also had worked at the Warsaw Community Schools part time. She was a member and helped found St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Warsaw where she enjoyed her Bible study group and attended Zion Lutheran Church with her daughter. Jane was family oriented and she loved all her grandchildren. She was very active and always on the go, either going shopping, spending time with her family, going to plays or going out and eat.
Survivors include her children, Judith (Larry) Waldron, Goshen; Mary Jane (Ralph) Sexton, Columbia City; Catherine (Yulee) Kirchaine, Hampton, Fla.; and David Bremer, Columbia City; brother, William (Shirley) Wolfe, Ashley Gray, Ky.; sister, Virginia Hughes, Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Sharon Bremer, Arenzville, Ill.; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Paul Martin Bremer; second husband, Claude Fuller; son, Richard Bremer; and brothers, James Wolfe, Jr., Ronald Wolfe and infant brothers, Phil and Harold Wolfe.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, 101 E North St, Columbia City, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Phil Rittner of Zion Lutheran Church and Pastor Michael Barnes of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Warsaw will be officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her first husband at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Columbia City.
Memorial gifts may be given in her memory to Lutheran Ministries Worship for Shut-ins or Concordia Seminary.
