Norma Sue Sherk
Norma Sue Sherk, 76, Plymouth, passed away at 1 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 in the South Bend Hospice House.
Sue was born Sept. 25, 1940, the daughter of the late Merle and Mabel (Ross) Zehner. On Feb. 26, 1961, she married Ronald Sherk.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ronald; three children: Brenda (Carroll) Baker, Plymouth; Bruce (Carol) Sherk, North Liberty; and Brad (Brandy) Sherk, Plymouth; eight grandchildren: Michael (Lori) Baker, Plymouth; Matthew Baker, Chicago; Austin (Kim) Baker, Indianapolis; Adam Baker, Plymouth; Laura (fiancé Timmy) Secor, Lakeville; Nicholas Sherk, Plymouth; Lucy Sherk, Plymouth; and Samuel Sherk, Plymouth; and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Karen (Butch) Rozycki, North Liberty; and Jerry Zehner, Fishers; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Sue was a member of Lakeville United Methodist Church. She worked for various local businesses, including a Dental Hygienist in South Bend, Bremen Dairy Queen for numerous years, Plymouth Wal-Mart and managing multiple restaurants.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, and her flower gardens.
Her greatest love was taking care of her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
