Warsaw Parks Department Prepares for Holiday Season
WARSAW — Holiday preparation is ahead of schedule due to unseasonably warm weather.
During the Warsaw Park’s Board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15, Shaun Gardner, maintenance director announced that all of the light displays in Central Park were arranged correctly, now the team will work on cording the displays.
“The crew took full advantage of the beautiful weather we’ve been having the past few weeks,” said Gardner.
The Central Park light display will feature three new large, animated items for residents to enjoy as they travel through the display. The official light-up will be during December’s First Friday event on Dec. 2. The lights will remain lit until New Year’s Day.
Because the the first friday in December will fall earlier than years past the crew has been working hard and counting down the work days left to get the lights operational.
