Milford Woman Sentenced For Dealing Narcotics and Meth
WARSAW — A Milford woman was sentenced today, Nov. 21, for dealing narcotics and methamphetamine.
Pamela S. McGreevy, 13276 N. 150E, Milford, was sentenced on two separate incidents.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the first incident occurred in April 2015, when arrangements were made for an individual to purchase one gram of methamphetamine and 16 hydrocodone pills from McGreevy. Another individual was also involved in the selling of the drugs.
The buyer of the methamphetamine and hydrocodone pills met with McGreevy and purchased two bags of methamphetamine and the pills for $130.
Police obtained the drugs purchased, which verified it was hydrocodone and weighed more than five grams. The white crystal substance tested positive for meth and weighed 1.2 grams.
On June 2, 2015, another purchase was arranged via cell phone with McGreevy. This time it was arranged to purchase four grams of meth in exchange for $400. The purchase was to occur in Syracuse. The buyer met with McGreevy in her vehicle in a business parking lot. After selling the meth, McGreevy told the buyer the meth was in a cooler and she was purchasing more meth from a supplier.
The buyer left with the cooler that contained a black shirt and four clear plastic bags containing the meth. The purchase of meth weighed 4.8 grams.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the second incident occurred when a Warsaw Police Department went to the Milford residence on Nov. 18, 2015, to serve McGreevy an arrest warrant for the prior incident of dealing of a narcotic drug.
When the officer arrived at the residence he was greeted by two men. McGreevy was not present at the time. As one of the men walked away, the officer reportedly observed the man attempting to hide an eyeglass case in his pocket. The officer asked what the item was and the man stated that it was a smoking device. The man then proceeded to show the officer a glass pipe with white residue. The officer also observed a glass smoking device laying on the table.
When McGreevy arrived, the officer obtained permission from her to search the residence. In a bedroom, the officers found a plastic bag containing a white residue. The residue tested positive for methamphetamine.
In the shed the officer found a plastic bag that containing a crystal-like substance that also tested positive for methamphetamine. According to the affidavit, McGreevy admitted that the methamphetamine belonged to her.
McGreevy was sentenced to two years at the Indiana Department of Correctional Facility for count I dealing a narcotic drug, a level 3 felony. She received two years probation for count III dealing methamphetamine, a level 4 felony. Counts II, IV, V and VI were dismissed per the plea agreement. The sentences are to be served consecutively. McGreevy will received one day of credit for time already served.
McGreevy was also sentenced for count I possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony, for the second incident. Count II was dismissed per the plea agreement. She received one and a half years probation. She will receive one day of credit for time already served. This sentencing is to be served concurrently with the sentencing for the prior incident.
