Elder, NLC Stars Load IFCA All-State Football Lists
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Football Coaches Association has issued its selections for the 2016 All-State teams. Among the choices are stars from the Northern Lakes Conference, the Three Rivers Conference, the Hoosier North Athletic Conference and the Northern Indiana Conference.
Warsaw, Wawasee, NorthWood and Whitko all had players make the Senior All-State and Junior All-State teams. Tiger kicker Andrew Mevis was on the All-State list for Class 6-A, while NorthWood’s duo of quarterback Trey Bilinski and tight end Drew Minnich and Wawasee punter Tyler Smith were selected the Class 4-A Senior All-State. NorthWood’s Brayton Yoder, Bronson Yoder and Will Ingle, as well as Wawasee’s Elisha Tipping were chosen to the Class 4-A Junior All-State. Whitko running back Garrett Elder was chosen as Senior All-State for Class 2-A.
