Drifting And Slippery Conditions Are Expected For Roads In Kosciusko County
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The Kosciusko County Highway Department is warning that winds are causing drifting today that could lead to bad road conditions for this evening and tomorrow in Kosciusko County.
Some roads in the county are already experiencing significant drifting and are already down to one lane.
The National Weather Service warns below freezing temperatures tonight will lead to refreezing on some roadways and may cause slippery road conditions by tomorrow morning, Dec. 21.
The Kosciusko County Highway Department will be out until 6 p.m. this evening and will continue clearing roads in the morning.
The superintendent of the county highway department Scott Tilden warns drivers to take it easy and go slow on roads with a lot of drifting.
