Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:55 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, Husky Trail, north of North Pointe Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Hanna L. Vela, 25, North CR 100E, Warsaw, Wilfredo J. Garcia, 21, East Woodland Acres Drive, Syracuse, and John R. Wiles, 78, EMS C29 Lane, Warsaw. Vela rear-ended Garcia’s vehicle, causing Garcia’s vehicle to strike Wiles’ vehicle from behind. Damage up to $25,000.

5:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, North Detroit Street, south of West CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Andrew J. Holdeman, 19, South Higbee Street, Milford, Wesley H. Shelpman, 44, North Maple Avenue, Akron, Steven M. Harrelson, 45, Blue Heron Court, Warsaw, and Thomas L. Richcreek, 57, East CR 500N, Leesburg. Shelpman, Harrelson and Richcreek were all in their respective vehicles, stopped in traffic. Holdeman rear-ended Shelpman’s vehicle, causing a chain reaction accident involving four vehicles. Damage up to $25,000.

7:42 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, West CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Mardell C. Baker, 36, County Road 50, Syracuse. Baker backed into an unoccupied, parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
