John R. Christison

John R. Christison, 54, Plymouth passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

John was born on Jan. 11, 1962 in Knox, to John R. and Lucille M. (White) Christison.  John owned and operated his heating and air conditioning business in Inwood. He also worked for the city of Plymouth in the sewer department. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy and National Guard. On Sept. 9, 1993 John married the former Roxanne Krakowski at his parents’ home in Plymouth.

John is survived by his wife, Roxanne Christison, Plymouth; two daughters, Shelby Christison and her fiancé, Tyle Celmer, Plymouth, Rachel Christison, Plymouth; his mother, Lucille Christison, Plymouth; two sisters, Tina and Cleon Wagoner, Culver, Janet and Andrew Wilson, Plymouth; two brothers, Gary and Stacy Christison, Indianapolis, Mike Christison, Plymouth; two grandchildren, Braeden Christison and Amelia Celmer.

John is preceded in passing by his father, John R. Christison on May 20, 2008.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Funeral services for John will be held in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, Indiana 46563 at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, with Andrew Wilson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #27, VFW Post #1162 and the DAV Post #42 of Plymouth.

A time of visiting with the Christison family will also be held in the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28.
