Valley Basketball: Bobcats Rally Past Vikings
FULTON – A huge fourth quarter sent the Oregon-Davis boys basketball team to a victory Thursday over Tippecanoe Valley in the Caston Tournament. O-D used a 22-10 final quarter to claim a 64-51 victory.
Three Bobcats hit double digits in the two-day tournament that continues Friday with consolation and semi-final games and wrap up with place games and finals this evening. Trevor Risner led O-D with 22 points, going 5-7 from deep and making all five of his free throws. Jonathan Clark had 15 points and John Messer added 13 points and three assists.
Valley also had its big three in double figures, led by Alec Craig’s 16 points, Jarod Duzenbery’s 15 points and Keith Wright’s 13 points. Craig had four assists, Duzenbery six rebound and Wright three steals for the Vikings.
O-D held just a 42-41 lead heading into the fourth quarter as Valley chipped a five-point Bobcat halftime advantage down to one in the third quarter.

The tournament will continue Friday with:
Eastern (Greentown) v. Knox and Tippecanoe Valley v. Caston at 11:30 a.m. in consolation games
Lowell v. Central Noble and Oregon-Davis v. South Bend Career Academy at 1 p.m. in semi-finals
Fifth and seventh place games at 6 p.m.
First and third place games at 7:30 p.m.
