Danny L. Stanton
Danny L. Stanton, 66, of Wabash, Ind., died at 1 a.m. Thursday, Jan.5, 2017 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born March 20, 1950 in Peru, Ind. to Charles Elvin and Wilma J. (Burnworth) Stanton.
Danny was a graduate of Northfield High School. He married Betty Rogers in February 1991. He drove truck for Steve Shambaugh, and also owned Dan’s Auto Body Shop. Danny was a former member of the Roann Jaycees. He enjoyed drag racing, and owning his own dragster, driving truck, and loved his cats and dog.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Stanton of Wabash; step-son, Nicholas Eviston of Wabash; brother, Mike Stanton of Florida; and step-brother, Scott Stanton of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
