Frank E. Bair
Frank E. Bair, Jr., 96, of Plymouth passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at the Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
Frank was born on December 18, 1920 in Ft. Wayne, Ind. to Frank E. and Hazel R. (Pomroy) Bair, Sr. On March 14, 1942 Frank married the former Dollie E. Palmer in a ceremony in Plymouth, she preceded him in passing on May 6, 2015.
The Bair’s have been lifelong residents of the Plymouth area. Frank was the previous owner of Plymouth Battery which he sold to United Auto Supply. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army and served during WWII. He was a member of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish Frank’s memory are his son, Larry F. and Bonnie Bair of McDonough, GA; his four grandchildren, Mark and Pam Lee of Plymouth, Scott and Dolly Lee of Knox, Ind., Pam and Steve Fox of Gainsville, Ga., and Michael and Jena Bair of Locusgrove, Ga.; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Frank is preceded in passing by his parents, his loving wife, and his daughter and son-in-law, Janet R. and David Lee.
The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Bair family. A funeral in honor of Frank will be on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, Ind. 46563 with Pastor Tamara Boggs of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist officiating. Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
A time of visiting with the Bair family will be on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 11a.m. to 2. p.m.
