Decker Introduced As New Ivy Tech Warsaw Campus President
WARSAW — The new Warsaw campus president of Ivy Tech was introduced to faculty and staff at an informal meet and greet at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9.
Allyn Decker officially began his role with Ivy Tech on Jan. 2, taking over leadership duties from interim president, Michael Slavkin.
Decker holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from Grace College and master’s degrees from both Ball State and Grace Theological Seminary. He most recently served as director of the Orthopedic Regulatory and Clinical Affairs Graduate Program and Medical Device Quality Management Program at Grace College.
Ivy Tech Community College North Central/Northwest Region Chancellor, Dr. Thomas Coley, assisted with introductions and questions. Coley states that Decker “brings the skills and attitude the Warsaw campus needs to further its efforts for community and student success.”
