NORTH WEBSTER — Over the past 20 years, The Watershed Foundation has been led by community leaders and visionaries. TWF’s Board of Directors has ensured the longevity of TWF’s mission to protect and improve our lakes and streams by making crucial decisions, utilizing cutting-edge environmental research and contributing countless volunteer hours.
During TWF’s December Board of Directors’ meeting long-time board member and past president of Webster Lake Conservation Association, Terry Frederick, was elected as the president with Chapman Lake resident Greg Hall as his vice president. Lake Tippecanoe resident Vicki Bolles was elected as secretary and previous TWF President Natalie Fierek was appointed as treasurer.
One of TWF’s newest board members, Ted Burnworth, was appointed to the executive committee as the at-large representative. Tom Snyder, Lake Tippecanoe resident and former president of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, was elected to the 15-member Board.
Rounding out the board is Chuck Brinkman, Emily Cowan, Jim Siegfried, Dave Smith, Joe Tynan and Jennifer Zartman-Romano. Over the past 20 years, 48 individuals have dedicated themselves to leading TWF.
Special recognition was given to retiring treasurer Bob Schwartz, for his 16 years of service. Although he will no longer serve as a board member, his council will continue as a director emeritus.
