Miller Re-Elected President Claypool Council
CLAYPOOL — Niki Miller was re-elected board president of Claypool City Council, Monday, Jan. 16. This is Miller’s ninth year in the position.
The meeting was otherwise short with no other business on the agenda.
Miller asked Clerk-Treasurer Pat Warner about the awaited trash carts, the conversation was tabled at the December meeting. Warner commented that the weather has delayed them but they will hopefully be available by Feb. 1.
Town employee Danny Warner asked for new equipment to test wastewater pH and other levels. The replacement lab equipment will cost $2,608, quoted by equipment manufacturer Hach. It was approved.
Gene Warner, who was approved last month to attend the American Waste Water Association conference in Indianapolis, got approval to be reimbursed for hotel rooms while attending the conference.
New town marshal Dalis Owens provided the council a break down of the police departments 2016 runs.
Next regular meeting will be Monday, Feb. 20.
