Warsaw Gymnastics: Spartans Secure Win
WARSAW — The Warsaw gymnastics team was back in action Tuesday evening. The Tigers hosted Homestead and were downed 106.50-97.025.
Catherine Milne was the star of the meet as she took first in the all-around with a 35.950 for the Spartans. Milne took first on floor (9.425), vault (9.200) and bars (9.275). Homestead’s Olivia Cronenmett (9.075) took first on beam.
Warsaw was led by Remi Beckham who took fourth in the all-around. Beckham’s best finish of the night came on vault where she placed third with an 8.75. Beckham was fourth on bars (7.85), floor (9.00) and beam (8.175).
Other highlighted finishers for the Tigers included Megan Metzger on vault (8.40) and bars (7.725). Metzger was fifth in both events. Daylen Turner took fourth on vault with an 8.50 for Warsaw.
Warsaw will host Plymouth and East Noble Saturday morning.
