SOUTH WHITLEY — It was all about Spencer Sroufe Tuesday night for the Whitko boys basketball team. Sroufe dropped 27 points on Adams Central to help lead the Wildcats to an 85-75 overtime victory.

Sroufe did not stop with his points outpouring, however. He was able to earn a double-double by pulling down a team-high 10 rebounds. Sroufe also led the team with five assists and three blocks.

In addition to Sroufe big night, Nate Walpole was far from quiet totaling 23 points, three rebounds, two assists and one block. River West, Alex Bechtold and Alex Robbins all tallied 10 points each for the ‘Cats.

The win moves Whitko to 8-5 overall. The Wildcats host Northfield Friday night for a Three Rivers Conference contest.

Adams Central won the JV contest 40-21.
