Edgewood Cagers Dominate In Wins
WARSAW – The Edgewood girls basketball teams each posted a pair of convincing wins Saturday.
The 8th grade defeated Westview 42-4 and Wabash 34-18 in the Tiger Classic played at Edgewood.
Kensie Ryman had 12 points and Lindsey Bradley 10 to lead the win over Westview. Ryman also had five assists and five steals and Bradley finished with five rebounds and five steals.
Audrey Grimm had seven points, while Brooklyn Fitzgerald had four, Kendra Love three and Faith Delp, Audrey Hepler and Madi Johnson two each. Grimm also had three rebounds and three steals, Fitzgerald three steals, Love three rebounds and Delp four steals.
Bradley netted 10 points to go with nine rebounds and five steals in the victory over Wabash.
Ryman had nine points and four assists and five steals. Love added six points, while Fitzgerald had three and Grimm, Hepler and Johnson each had two. Fitzgerald also had five rebounds in the win.
The 7th grade team rolled past Westview 41-17. Marin Hart led the winners with eight points.
The Edgewood 7th graders then beat Wabash 54-11. Adin Um led the winners with 14 points.
The 7th grade team, now 5-0, plays at Milford on Monday.
