Ruth Bowman
Ruth (Bowen) Bowman, 90, Plymouth, passed away early Friday morning, Jan. 20, in the Signature Healthcare of Bremen.
Ruth was born April 29, 1926 in Amberg, Wisconsin, to the late Charles Edward and Jesse Ellen (Beetsma) Bowen.
She had worked at Bomarko Inc. for thirteen years, and she also sold Avon for thirty-eight years.
Ruth enjoyed playing euchre and crocheting.
Surviving are her three children: Jerry and Nancy Bowman, Plymouth; Patricia and Dale Leech, Plymouth; Lynette and Mike Dickson, Plymouth; sister-in-law: Marge Bowen, Plymouth; seven grandchildren: Amy Bowman and Ryan Johanson, Angie and Ike Mendoza, Jason Leech, Andrew Leech, Jessica and Travis Stevens, Ashley Dean and Autum Crowe. Also surviving are her four great-grandchildren: Franco Mendoza, Ava Mendoza, Griffin Johanson and Lily Leech.
She was preceded in death by her parents, companion; Harry Richard Jones, sister; Elizabeth “Tootie” Books, and two brothers: Charles Edward Bowen and George Washington Bowen.
Private graveside services will be Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Robert Shultz officiating.
