Spring Nears As Christmas Lights Are Taken Down In Warsaw
WARSAW — A sign that spring is getting closer was evident today, Feb. 8, as city of Warsaw employees Jerome Grant and Jim Gause Jr. removed Christmas lights that had been strung on trees throughout downtown Warsaw.
They have been in the process of taking down lights from 82 trees on Buffalo, Main, Market and Center streets.
The decorations were left on the trees until February so the city could light up the streets during the “Fire and Ice” first Friday that took place last week.
