Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

4:34 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, South SR 15, north of West Union Street, Warsaw. Driver: Michael J. Knoop, 21, West CR 1300N, Silver Lake. Driver drove through a fence and into a field. Damage up to $5,000.

7:07 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, North CR 300E, north of East CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas E. Wise, 67, North CR 350W, Columbia City. Driver struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000.

7:16 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, East CR 1000N and North CR 1000E, Syracuse. Drivers: Samuel R. Fishburn, 19, North CR 700E, Leesburg, and Nicholas J. Bradley, 32, South Highland Drive, Cromwell. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $10,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

9:24 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, CR 175E, north of Springfield Drive, Winona Lake. Driver: Louis R. Stump, 44, North Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw. Driver lost control of vehicle and drove into a yard. Damage up to $25,000.
