WARSAW — Dr. Steven Ashton and Kathy MacDonald have both recently joined the Lutheran Health Network team.

Dr. Steven Ashton, Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist, has joined Lutheran Health Physicians/Kosciusko Medical Group. Dr. Ashton has served the community as a board certified Otolaryngologist for 32 years. Additionally, he has served in numerous leadership positions at KCH including Medical Staff Director and as a Board of Trustees member.

Dr. Ashton specializes in several areas of Otolaryngology including: allergy treatment, sinus and ear conditions and oral facial plastic reconstructive procedures. He sees patients at 2280 Provident Court, Warsaw. Call (574) 269-6700 for further information.

Kathy MacDonald, Nurse Navigator has joined the medical team at Lutheran Health Network’s KCH Cancer Care Center. Kathy has experience in many facets of nursing including ICU, Outpatient Surgery/Recovery Room, School Nursing and Home Health & Hospice.

Kathy values individualized patient care and treating each patient with respect and consideration. She will be helping cancer patients from initial diagnosis, through treatment and throughout survivorship. Kathy will meet with the patient’s family as well, assisting through appointment schedules, educating on community resources and guiding patients and family members toward resources they may need that can include transportation and financial counsel as necessary.
