2017 Milford Fest announced
MILFORD — Tricia Gall, Lions Club member and Milford Fest organizer, announced fundraising letters have been sent out for the 2017 Milford Fest, planned for Saturday, May 27, Memorial Day weekend. This year’s theme is the 100th anniversary of Lions Club International, which will be celebrated worldwide.
A useful addition to this year’s Milford Fest is a website, www.milfordfest.org. The site is mobile-friendly, so attendees can keep track of events throughout the day by checking their phones. Application forms for the cutie contest and talent show are now available on the site, along with a sponsor list.
The site is still under construction and events continue to be added, so anyone interested should keep checking back for more information. A “contact us” button will also be added soon for anyone with questions.
This year’s Milford Fest will provide much of the same activities as last year, according to Gall, including vendors, pony rides and the car show, most of which take place on Main Street in downtown Milford near town hall and the community building.
As in years past, Beer and Jessop Amusements will be providing many of the rides and attractions. Their website is www.bajamusements.com.
“Get ready for some fun,” Gall exclaimed.
