Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:31 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, Kings Highway and Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Driver: Jackson R. Wolkins, 16, Robson Road, Winona Lake. Wolkins’ vehicle was struck at the intersection, but the driver of the other vehicle left the scene without stopping. Damages up to $2,500.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
6:44 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, North SR 19, south of North CR 900W, Nappanee. Drivers: Davontea T. Millsaps, 21, Morehouse Avenue, Elkhart, and Robert M. Mulderink, 67, Marblehead Drive, Mishawaka. Millsaps rear-ended Mulderink’s vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:14 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, Enterprise Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Jennie J. Sholly, 73, South Country Club Drive, Warsaw. Sholly struck an unoccupied, parked vehicle while pulling into a parking space. Damages up to $1,000.
Elkhart
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
12:07 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, US 33 and CR 50, southeast of Goshen. Drivers: Mearl Grabill Jr., 79, New Paris and Tara Bruner, 30, Cromwell. Grabill suffered left arm pain and left ear abrasion. Bruner suffered abrasions to the face. Also injured were: Helen Mishler, 90, Nappanee, who suffered an abrasion to the leg and Angela Long, 55, West Friendship, Md., who complained of knee pain, both passengers in Grabill’s vehicle; and Legend Bruner, 4, Cromwell, who suffered abrasions to the head and a bloody nose. All persons refused transport to a hospital. Grabill pulled into the path of the Burner vehicle. Grabill was issued a warning for failure to yield at an intersection with a through highway.
