Arnold Paul Milliron
Arnold Paul Milliron, age 67, of Pierceton, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at Goshen Hospital from complications of heart disease.
He was born on April 28, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio to Emden and Helen (Siverling) Milliron. After graduating from Boardman High School in 1967, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp and attended Youngstown State University. He worked for General Fireproofing, General Electric and General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio, before transferring to Fort Wayne GM Assembly, from which he retired from in 2006. Arnold attended Nappanee Missionary Church, where he had a passion for working with other adults that experienced divorce, and also the children that are impacted by divorce.
He married his wife, Marsha Hopkins, on July 5, 2003 at Warsaw Missionary Church. She survives, as well as son Jared Milliron of Dryfork, W. Va.; step-son Scott (Krystal) Hopkins of Goshen; step-daughter Amanda (Todd) Method of Elkhart; grandchildren: Alejandra Campos, Carlos Campos, Kalli Hopkins, Kyle Hopkins, Quentin Hopkins, Gideon Method, Naya Hopkins, and Chandlyr Milliron; siblings Larry Milliron of Berlin Station, Ohio; Elma Morina of Boardman, Ohio; Dennis Milliron of Gilbert, Texas; Rebecca (Jerry) Campbell of Harmony, Fla.; Jane (Gilbert) Winne of Spring, Texas; Joan (Mark) Van Dyck of Richmond, Texas; Sara (Jerry Rossler) of Berlin Station, Ohio; and sister-in-law Rachel Milliron of Alliance, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Keith Milliron.
Friends and family may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 5 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and for an hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service, which will take place on Monday, March 6, at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel. Pastors Christopher Knight and Jason Rohde will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
