ROCHESTER – Tippecanoe Valley’s middle school wrestling team placed eight within the top two at the Rochester Invite this past Saturday.

Drake Montelongo was a champion for the Vikings, with runner-up finishes by Zack Burke, Bazle Owens, Andrew Burke, Branson McBrier, Tyler Nine, Johnny Gonsalez and Ian Becker.

Finishing third were Braxton Davis and Luis Castillo, fourth were Ethan Sprague and Landon Grossman and taking top eight places included Dalton Alber, Uvaldo Gutierrez, Jacob Bailey, Matt Davis, Joel Cisneros, Bobby Burke, Hunter Eherenmam, Brandon Hammer, Skyler Losher, Eric Burke, Keenan Deniston and Haylee Brown.
