Emergency responders at Lake City Bank.

MENTONE — At approximately 11:10 a.m., dispatch reported a bank robbery at Lake City Bank, 202 W Main St., Mentone. Two bank alarms were activated and employees at the bank confirmed that a robbery did occur.

After the robbery, the subject was located inside his residence at 211 North Tucker St., Mentone. All Kosciusko County Sheriff officers and Mentone Police Department officers were routed to the house in an emergency response.

Officers were able to capture the suspect without incident and he is currently in custody.
