Evan Krueger and Lauren Bogart have been named the valedictorian and salutatorian for the Wawasee High School Class of 2017.

Krueger is the son of Michelle and Jeff Krueger, Milford. He plans to attend Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, Mich., majoring in philosophy with a minor in economics. He has been active in tennis, on the Academic Super Bowl team and a member of the National Honor Society, DECA and WHS Student Representative Council.

Bogart is the daughter of Amy and Jason Bogart, North Webster. She plans to attend Butler University, Indianapolis, majoring in business. She has been active in Vocal Motion and a member of the Student Representative Council, National Honor Society, DECA and Future Business Leaders.

Krueger and Bogart will speak during graduation ceremonies Sunday, June 4.
