Crystal and Jim Avery

SYRACUSE — Jim and Crystal (Nyce) Avery, 10423 N. 300E, Syracuse, will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Friday, March 24.

They were married March 24, 1962, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nyce. Rev. Howard Krieder officiated the ceremony.

The couple have four children: Tammy (Byron) Oswald, Syracuse; Tracy (Ron) Pollock, Syracuse; Trisha Harvey, Warsaw; and Jason (Renee) Avery, Milford. They also have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Jim is retired from Commodore Homes, Goshen, and Crystal is a homemaker.
